Hey Xanga,

How are you?  That's great.  I'll talk to you again in about another six months.

Will this year ever end?

The bad things just keep coming. Let's recap...

1.  Bell's Palsy and not being able to smile for my prom pictures.

2.  Losing the second game of districts when we could have gotten to states.

3.  The last season of Jaguar softball as we know it.

4.  Papa passing away.

5.  One of the best friends I've got having to go through some rough family problems.

6.  Having to go to school away from Casey and close friends.

7.  Making the decision to not play the sport I love in college.

...and here's the kicker...

8.  My house burning down 23 days before Christmas.

How about that for one shitty year.

At least we had a lot of help from so many friends.  There's nothing like a good old fashion house burning to bring the community together.  Thanks to all our neighbors, friends and family for everything.  Without all of you we wouldn't have been able to handle this as well.  A special thanks to Bob and Marlene Gunnells and the girls for taking our whole family in during this time.

I'm ready for next Thursday when I can be at home to help with everything, and be done with school for awhile.

A couple good things happened this year, and one amazing thing, but I would have to say I'm definately ready for 2005.  At least I had my one amazing thing from 2004 with me to help me get through all the bad in this rough year, the best person I know and most loving, Casey Tyler Wolfe.  Thank you for being strong for me, and helping me through everything I've had to deal with.

Thank you to everyone of my friends out there who have helped me so much with the fire.  You all mean so much to me, and all the help you have given means so much to my family and me.

And, as Leann put it...ONCE A TEAM, ALWAYS A FAMILY.

Today was amazing, aside from having to leave Casey to come back to school.  In my philosophy class, a Buddhist monk from Tibet came in and talked in his own language so he had a translator.  He was even dressed in his monk attire.  This is why my day was amazing.  I was in the same room as a real, live monk.  He was very interesting and answered a lot of questions.  Some of us stayed an hour+ past the end of class to talk with him.  It was great.

Other than the monk, not much else happened.  I turned in my third paper for English, and we are starting the last assignment, which we get to work with partners on, also amazing, but not as amazing as the monk.

I miss Casey though.  It's been about 8 hours since I've seen him.  I know I'm crazy...crazy about him.  The week may have just started, but I already can't wait for it to be Friday.

I got to go home this weekend because my mom decided to come get me even though I didn't have to work so I spent both days with Casey all the time.  Sure we saw some other people, but he took off work so him and I weren't apart for the whole weekend, which was nice since I don't get to see him during the week.  We went to see The Incredibles Saturday night, and it was INCREDIBLE...intensely funny.  We both enjoyed the movie very much.  Yesterday we stopped by Nolen's house to give her birthday treats.  She turned the big 1-8.  It was good getting to talk with her and hang out for awhile.  Friday night I got to see Shall We Dance with Nrodall, and we had McDonalds for din-din.  Good times.  Then I was at Casey's and hung out with him and his friends.  Overall I'd say this was a pretty good weekend, and I'm sorry to see it be Monday again.

That's all for today.

Steelers rocked the Eagles today.  What now bitches.

Casey and I caught the end of the game when we stopped for lunch in a pizza shop in town after walking around town and stopping in some shops.  I bought the Used "In Love and Death" cd.  It's amazing.  I recommend all people get it immediately.

Today was a great day because I pretty much got to spend all day with just Casey and I.  Yestderday the family was up so we hung out with them and Friday I had class so we didn't have all day to hang out.  Casey had to leave though, to go back to Leb-town, which made me very sad, and I'm still not very happy.  I will see him again...only on Friday though.  Stupid school and being away from Casey.

I'm not sure about how I feel about anything around this place.  Things here used to be alright, but I'm not sure whether or not I actually do like it much at all.  It just seems I am only here because of the full scholarship and no other reason.  Oh well...I'll get used to it.

I miss Casey very much and I love him.
